1924 (JUNE) - Boys' Life Brigade unit at formed at Alan Road Methodist Church

1926 - 6th Ipswich Boys' Brigade formed with L.S. Paskall as captain

1931 - Burtie Buckner became captain

1933 - Charles Lait became captain

1940 - Henry Goodman became captain

1948 - Dennis Green became captain

1951 - Henry Goodman became captain for the second time around

1955 - S.J. West became captain

1960 - E. Newton became captain

1967 - Ivan Kindred became captain

1997 (SEPTEMBER) - David Gooding became captain

1999 - The last Officers V. Boys football match at camp (after 33 years this great tradition ended well for the staff who won 14 of the matches to the boys 12!)

2000 (SEPTEMBER) - Brian Crowe became captain and 6thNews launched
2000 (NOVEMBER)-
6thWeb launched

2004 (JUNE) - 80 Years of Uniformed Boys Organisations at Alan Road Methodist Church. What an achievement!!!
