Welcome to 1924 to 2004!

Are you or were you once a member of the 6th Ipswich Boys' Brigade? If so we want to hear from you...

In 1924 a Boys' Life Brigade unit was set up at Alan Road Methodist Church and in 1926 this became the 6th Ipswich Boys Brigade as we know it today. Today after 80 years and many achievements the 6th Ipswich Boys' Brigade is still going strong. To mark this achievement we are running a number of events and activities throughout 2004. This mini-site contains all of the information on all of these events and much more.

So please look around the 1924to2004 to find out more about this special birthday! And if you were once a member or know someone who was please get in touch! (Visit the Contact Us page for details)

If you would like to find out what the 6th Ipswich Boys' Brigade is like in 2004 why not visit 6thWeb to see what we get up to!

This website is part of 6thWeb (the official website of the 6th Ipswich Boys Brigade) and has been set-up as part of the celebration of 80 years of uniformed boys organisations at Alan Road Methodist Church in Ipswich

THE OBJECT OF THE BOYS' BRIGADE IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF CHRIST'S KINGDOM AMONG BOYS, AND THE PROMOTION OF HABITS OF OBEDIENCE, REVERENCE, DISCIPLINE, SELF-RESPECT AND ALL THE TENDS TOWARDS A TRUE CHRISTIAN MANLINESS
